This role provides an opportunity to work within a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service across various technical disciplines including electrical, electronics, PLC (Siemens S5/S7), mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
In this role, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing reactive and planned maintenance, and overseeing installations and commissioning of sawing machines. They will also provide operator training, handle component replacements, and ensure meticulous administration and reporting.
The ideal Field Service Engineer excels in fault diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of sawing machines, with expertise in electrical, electronics, PLC systems (Siemens S5/S7), mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics. They prioritize customer service and meticulous attention to detail in their work.
The Role:
- Diagnosing faults in sawing machines and material storage systems.
- Performing reactive breakdown maintenance.
- Installing and commissioning equipment.
- Conducting unplanned maintenance and component replacements as needed.
The Person:
- Experience working on sawing machines and material storage systems
- Background in servicing Siemens S5/S7 & hydraulics
- Clean drivers licence
