Job Description
Syntech Recruitment are currently working with a long standing client who are looking to
expand their team and take on an Production Engineer. You will be required to assist in the NPI
process and help oversee the manufacturing processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join

Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out root cause analysis and maintain the 8D/RMA system
- Ensure best practice and health and safety codes are followed
- Identify problems in the production line, troubleshooting manufacturing issues
- Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards
- Diagnosing problems in the production line
- Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production costs and labour
- Checking drawings and production readiness
- Establishing safety procedures and protocols
- Keeping abreast of advancements in the engineering and production and sharing with co-workers
- Monitoring the manufacturing processes ensuring the work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
About you
- Experience with CAD software
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proven experience in the engineering field
- Degree/HNC in Engineering
- Able to work in a team
- Hands on
