Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are currently representing a creative business who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant. This role is perfect for someone with experience in Purchase Ledger who is looking for a stable career path. The role is office-based in Chelmsford with free parking on site, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5 pm.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Register and authorise invoices.
- Handle invoice queries by raising debit notes and chasing for credits.
- Process credit notes and cancel debits as necessary.
- Prepare and raise supplier payments.
- Assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Liaise with branches to investigate internal invoice queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Purchase Ledger is essential.
- Positive attitude and professional attitude.
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Professional manner and personal responsibility for actions.
- Literate and numerate.
