An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading global manufacturer as a Forecasting Manager. Our client is a vibrant and passionate group of people who enjoy working collaboratively to achieve continued success and phenomenal global growth. Role Overview

You will be forecasting sales data based on historical trends. Leading a monthly meeting with the national sales managers and e-commerce team, you will ask for their updates and amendments to the forecast based on promotions, new listings, and product launches.

You must be confident in your communication and presentation skills to build relationships with the sales and marketing team. You will also collaborate with the demand planning team to update them with sales forecasts.

Reporting to the Head of Operations. We are looking for a confident Sales and Operations Forecasting Manager with a "can-do" attitude. Personal character, attitude, and supply chain experience are primary requisites. You will have demonstrable experience in Supply Planning Chain (Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or Inventory Planning) and/or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.

Skills Needed

    • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Relex, Power BI, and forecasting software.

  • Proven ability to develop and optimise forecasting models.

  • Ideally, a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics.

  • Strong "can-do" attitude with excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • Confident and proactive in leading & presenting in meetings and discussions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continually develop statistical sales and operations forecasts .
  • Review and analyse forecast demand versus actual demand, understanding changes and trends.
  • Assist sales in resolving short-term key supply challenges by allocating stock across relevant sales channels.
  • Share monthly 18-month forecasts.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning and S&OP processes.
  • Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics.
