Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum as the Toddler Nursery Room Leader.
- Oversee the planning and maintenance of accurate records for the EYFS curriculum.
- Assume deputy responsibilities in the absence of the deputy manager when required.
- Support, mentor, and supervise room staff, ensuring high-quality planning and learning journeys.
- Uphold high standards of quality within the nursery, including the learning environment, resources, and experiences provided to children.
- Stay informed of current developments in childcare and education policies and practices.
- Manage the nutritional needs of the children, ensuring compliance with Food Safety Regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification with a desire to continue professional development.
- A positive role model for children and colleagues.
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Experience in implementing the EYFS curriculum is essential.
