An innovative school in Guilford is seeking a passionate Spanish Teacher to join their team this September. The role involves teaching Spanish to KS3/4 students, with the possibility of teaching KS5 for the right candidate. Applications are welcomed from experienced Spanish Teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Delivering Spanish lessons to KS3/4 students, with the potential to teach KS5.
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and informative lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assessing and recording students' progress and providing feedback to promote their academic growth.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and teaching resources.
  • Participating in school events and contributing to the school community.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A related degree in Spanish or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Spanish.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a love for the Spanish language.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of professionals.
