An innovative school in Guilford is seeking a passionate Spanish Teacher to join their team this September. The role involves teaching Spanish to KS3/4 students, with the possibility of teaching KS5 for the right candidate. Applications are welcomed from experienced Spanish Teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering Spanish lessons to KS3/4 students, with the potential to teach KS5.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and informative lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assessing and recording students' progress and providing feedback to promote their academic growth.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and teaching resources.
- Participating in school events and contributing to the school community.
- Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A related degree in Spanish or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Spanish.
- A commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a love for the Spanish language.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of professionals.
