Intelligence Development Administrator

We require an Intelligence Development Administrator to support a specialist police team based in Ryton On Dunsmore.

This is an interim position initially for 5 - 6 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting either the NaVCIS Intelligence, Freight or Ports portfolios. Providing information, intelligence management, research development and administration functions.

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, high volume data processing and intelligence dissemination.
  • Being confident and accurate user of the IT systems used by NaVCIS. Including intelligence systems/databases, Outlook, Excel and filing systems. Managing high volumes of data on various platforms and multiple email inboxes.
  • The Post Holder will be required to utilise PNC, VODS, Police intelligence systems and HPI as a minimum to support the live NaVCIS intelligence/freight function.
  • To assist in the development of intelligence and the strategic response by maintaining a working knowledge of NaVCIS issues.
  • The post holder will regularly liaise with NaVCIS consultants and Officers and staff to enable role support, and undertake accurate preparation and delivery of the tasking process document to management.
  • To provide high quality administration for NaVCIS Intelligence and Freight functions, responding to calls and emails or signposting as required.
  • To maintain appropriate level of generic equipment, stationery and marketing materials
  • The post holder will also be required to assist with NaVCIS vehicle fleet administration and management.
  • To give regular and effective service

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • At least 1 year's experience working in a busy office environment.
  • Proven IT skills, using Windows-based packages, in particular Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in handling quantitative and qualitative data.
  • The proven ability to combine information from multiple sources / systems, maintain databases or similar systems and summarise information.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a research role within an intelligence environment.

This is a temporary role, working full-time, with a pay rate of £12.92 per hour PAYE and you'll be working via REED who offer great benefits such as discounts, cashback offers and more as well as weekly pay.
