In this role, you will take ownership of the group's tax advisory and compliance functions. Your contributions will be pivotal in driving tax efficiency while ensuring adherence to global tax regulations. From influencing key financial decisions to managing complex tax matters, your expertise will support the team's success on the track and in its broader business ventures.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Corporation Tax: Manage the group's corporation tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings. Provide strategic advice to integrate tax considerations into key business decisions, maximising financial efficiency and compliance.
  • R&D Tax Credits: Lead the R&D tax credit process, working closely with external advisors to maximise claims. Ensure full compliance with legislation and integrate tax credits into financial planning to enhance cash flow and support future innovation.
  • VAT: Oversee the VAT process for both UK and global operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Focus on optimising cash flow and minimising risks, driving efficient recovery and reducing VAT costs.
  • Global Tax Compliance: Manage global tax compliance, including withholding taxes, import/export duties, and payroll taxes. Ensure that processes are cost-effective and fully compliant with international regulations.
  • Tax Strategy & Compliance: Collaborate with the finance team and senior leaders to monitor changes in tax law, drive continuous improvements, and ensure the group remains ahead of legislative updates, maintaining robust and efficient tax processes.

Working Hours: The standard working hours for this role are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. While this is a primarily office-based position, there may be the option to work from home one day a week.
Holiday Entitlement: You'll receive 33 days of holiday per year, including a two-week shutdown in August and one week at Christmas. Bank holidays are worked, so taking these off will require using your holiday entitlement.
Work Environment: You'll be part of a high-performance Formula One team, where enthusiasm for the sport and commitment to the role are key.
