You should be AAT, ACA or ACCA studier with accounts preparation experience within a similar environment.
The roles involves strong teamwork as well as direct interaction with clients, so self-confidence and good interpersonal skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Accounts Semi Senior your key responsibilities will include:
- 2 years experience in an accounting firm with similar clients (not contractor accountancy)
- Preparation of small accounts from books and records and software (for example Xero, Sage QuickBooks)
- Use of Xero preferred
- Some bookkeeping and VAT knowledge
- Studying AAT, ACA or ACCA
- Salary up to £25k
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- AAT, ACCA or ACA studier
- Current accounts experience in an Accountancy Practice Firm
- Basic knowledge of accounting packages including Xero, Sage, Quickbooks etc.
- Basic knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and FRS 102
