The Chief Operating Officer (COO) plays a critical role in driving the overall operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Accquis Group. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement the company's operational strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and manage budgets for operational activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimisation.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all departments, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer service.
- Ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives, providing guidance and support to department heads.
- Establish and maintain clear lines of communication across all departments, fostering collaboration and transparency.
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
System and Process Implementation:
- Implement new systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leverage technology to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and enhance data management.
- Continuously evaluate and optimise existing systems and processes, seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Team Efficiency:
- Build and manage high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Identify and develop talent within the organisation, providing training and mentorship opportunities.

Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is highly preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Operations Manager (COM) or Lean Six Sigma, are desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, with a proven track record of success in scaling businesses and driving operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, including lead generation, sales pipeline management, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams, including recruiting, training, and performance management.
- Experience in implementing and managing operational processes, including process mapping, workflow optimisation, and data analysis.
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in using Salesforce and Monday.com as operational management tools, including workflow automation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of data management and analytics, including data visualisation and reporting.
- Experience with other relevant software applications, such as project management tools, communication platforms, and data analytics software.
