Automation Project Manager - Industrial Manufacturing

You would be joining a leading automation services provider with a reputation for excellence and innovation. They help their customers to automate any manufacturing process, from simple to complex, across a range of sectors.

You will be able to apply your technical engineering background (think of your previous days as a Controls Systems/Automation Engineer within industrial automation) to ensure your project teams meet their project deadlines without compromising on the quality of solutions to customers.

***This role would not be the best fit if you do not have industrial automation experience - this is an essential skill and those who are more in the IT sector/general PM experience will not be able to be considered. ***

Whether it's Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Energy, Aerospace or Logistics, they have the expertise and experience to handle it.

You will be joining a small team of Project Managers to manage the full project life cycle from initial request to the final handover.

You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for specifying and delivering projects to meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • You are slick in planning and controlling milestones, risk management, internal and external reporting, supplier management and quality control.
  • You are a team player who is decisive, adaptable and accountable whilst having a genuine interest in actively developing those who report to you.

This role will require you to work in their Bristol office for three days a week, so you must be willing to relocate or already be within a commutable distance of Bristol.

You will receive a competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum dependent on experience plus benefits including 25 days holiday entitlement and private medical.
