Day-to-day of the role:
- Design and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge pupils within the KS2 curriculum.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback that supports their academic and personal growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and encourages pupils to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons, activities, and school events.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to foster a supportive and collaborative school community.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and contribute to the school's ethos and success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification and eligibility to teach in the UK.
- A thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and current educational practices.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage pupils of varying abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
