Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the production facility
- Transport raw materials and finished goods from storage areas to designated locations
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance and report any defects
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or team lead
Requirements:
- Must have a valid forklift driver's licence/certification
- Proven experience operating forklifts, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operations
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
