**Branch Manager
- Location: West Yorkshire
- Salary: £45k - £50k p/a DOE

Summary
As an essential part of the branch management team, your main duties will involve boosting sales and margins, maintaining efficient and safe branch operations, and meeting budgetary and operational goals.
**Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and margin targets while maintaining value for customers
- Utilize management information for planning, forecasting, and reporting on sales and performance
- Provide proactive leadership, communicate effectively, identify training needs, manage performance, and control overhead spending
- Collaborate with the External Rep and Central Sales Exec to drive customer growth
- Maintain high customer service standards to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Apply sales skills to capitalize on commercial opportunities through price negotiation
- Foster a proactive health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Develop knowledge about competitor activities and communicate insights to relevant departments
- Maintain and enhance the corporate image and reputation
- Participate in meetings and group discussions as required
- Perform any other reasonable duties as instructed by the line manager
**Skills and Attributes:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the builders merchant industry
- Demonstrated managerial background in sales and/or operations
- Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven with strong interpersonal skills and a background in customer service
- Positive mindset, strategic thinking, and a high degree of professionalism
- Competence in resolving disputes and addressing problems at the source
- Proficient in PC use with outstanding organizational and time management skills
