About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established organisation in the manufacturing industry. They are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join their team in Ledbury on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods, matching all relevant paperwork
- Report any suspicious activity related to company's freight and assets
- Follow established procedures for storing and rotating stock
- Notify Warehouse Supervisors of any damaged or missing goods
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse environment
- Adhere to workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Ensure efficient operations by complying with operational procedures and schedules
- Assist with warehouse inventory controls using a hand-held scanner
- Handle materials and products with care and concern at all times
Essential (Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience):
- Must hold a current counterbalance certificate
- Preferable to have a current VNA certificate or be willing to train for it
- Experience in a fast-paced storage and distribution environment
- A willingness to learn and ability to problem-solve
- Good communication skills and an effective team player
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Proactive and flexible approach
