Mechanical Fitter required in Chesterfield.
Mechanical Fitter Benefits:

- Starting salary is circa £ 30,000.00 per annum plus overtime
- Working hours: 37.5 hours basic per week - 8am to 4pm plus overtime when required

Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for electro mechanical engineering services and electric motor rewinds
- Inspect and dismantle electric motors, gearboxes and pumps and identify faults
- Carry out mechanical repair and re-assemble
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
- Assemble and fit components together using hand tools and power tools
- Weld or solder components together as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Mechanical Fitter Criteria:
- Mechanical Fitter experience, knowledge and understanding of assembly processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
- Experience with power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve assembly issues
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to work as a team and alone
- Strong organisational and planning skills
