Purpose of the Role
The Accounts Administrator Apprentice is responsible for the collation of data for financial reporting at The Galleria, responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative duties in their capacity as an apprentice.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounting and MIS for the asset, working in parallel with Savills account systems and procedures to produce accurate and relevant financial reports.
- Oversee service charge budget setting and monitoring, ensuring expenditure remains on budget throughout the year.
- Raising PO's on the company PO system, processing invoices in accordance with company & client procedures ensuring all invoices are coded to correct asset & cost codes and split accordingly.
- Provide management information, analysis and commercial recommendations to the management team and landlord.
- Establish and maintain filing systems including electronic records ensuring compliance with company, client and legal responsibilities.
- Preparing and issuing proforma and VAT invoices in accordance with Company procedures.
- Working with the client and wider site team to ensure efficient administration of accounts, with authority to streamline reporting procedures to suit the requirements of the asset.
- Interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and diligent reporting.
- Undertake regular reconciliation of financial accounts and budgets relating to the service charge.
- Creation and processing of ad-hoc reports depending on client needs, to be delivered within appropriate timelines.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- A team player looking to work in a fast paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems including excel and the experience of purchase order systems.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work manage large amounts of data accurately across multiple systems.
- Can demonstrate commercial awareness to deliver best value for the business.
- Can confidently deal with contractors and third party suppliers.
- Some accounting experience preferred.
Working Hours - 35 hours per week
Salary - £23,000 - £25,000 per annum pro rata
