Facilities Engineer role available for an engineer with electrical and mechanical installation experience predominantly in large scale production or FMCG sites. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting maintenance department and site maintenance activities.
Day to day as Facilities Engineer, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:
- Promoting company HSE policies across the department and plant and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies
- Engaging in projects that improve plant health and safety
- Ensuring contractor RAMS and permits are correct, updated, and adhered to
- Leading and managing projects on time, in budget, and to specification
- Utilising project management tools to clearly communicate and report out project progress and blockers.
To apply for this project management role, you will need project management, contractor control, and electrical and mechanical installation experience. You will also require the following:
- Time served apprentice in mechanical and electrical engineering or equivalent in an engineering discipline, mechanical or electrical
- Proven installation and fabrication experience and knowledge of a broad range of engineering principles
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance and installation
- Proficiency in Microsoft (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Roles you may currently or previously have been carrying out include Site services Engineer, Installation engineer, Site services supervisor or facilities manager
