Citadel Source are delighted to be working a leading manufacturing business in Bath to recruit a Financial Controller. You will form a critical part of the leadership team, partnering alongside a newly appointed GM who has large aspirations for the site.
This role hired specifically to drive the business forwards and provide key stakeholders with valuable data and MI. This is a site-based role with some additional flexibility.
The Role
This role will suit someone who wants to make a difference and will be tasked with partnering across the business to bring a modern S&OP approach to their site efficiency, improving effectiveness, inventory management, financial controls and creating a strong connection between site and group functions.
This role has an opportunity to make big change in a short period of time and really make an impact in a business looking to hugely ramp up efficiency. The organisation is continually looking to evolve with the times, this role being a crucial component to group strategy as they continue to grow and develop within their mark.
About you
This is a fantastic and impactful opportunity for a qualified accountant, who has experience operating within a manufacturing environment and understands all the nuances that a site based role entails. Any knowledge of ERP systems will be greatly beneficial.
As a Financial Controller your role will include but not be limited to:
- Partner with the GM and their team, regularly providing key data and commercial insights
- Forging relationships across Group finance function ensuring cohesion and accuracy on an ongoing basis
- Oversight of month-end process, leading and coaching the team throughout the process
- Prepare financial and data analysis with particular emphasis on factory performance and overhead control
- Design and prepare weekly KPI Statements with particular emphasis on factory performance, output and efficiency
- Support the Regional FC in defining best practice in relation to management, factory and operational KPI accounting
What the client has to offer
- A salary of £75,000 - £90,000
- Up to 15% bonus potential
