IT Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager for an interim contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in local authority IT procurement, with a deep understanding of Procurement Regulations and extensive experience in utilising frameworks for direct awards, particularly Crown Commercial frameworks such as the G Cloud framework. The role will focus primarily on software procurement.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Sourcing direct award options to maintain continuity with existing suppliers.
- Utilising G Cloud and Crown Commercial e-marketplace for call-offs.
- Completing contract documentation meticulously.
- Collaborating with clients to agree on requirements and ensure their needs are met efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT procurement within a local authority context.
- In-depth knowledge of Procurement Regulations.
- Familiarity with Crown Commercial frameworks, especially the G Cloud framework.
- Strong focus on software procurement, with some hardware procurement experience.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client engagement.
- Ability to manage procurement processes smoothly and efficiently.
