Kaizen Manager

Are you passionate about driving continuous improvement and optimising manufacturing processes? Anglian Home Improvements a leader in home improvements is seeking a dynamic and skilled Kaizen Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of skills, qualities, and experiences that enable them to effectively drive continuous improvement initiatives within an organisation. These include analytical thinking, passionate about improvement, excellent communicator, organised, collaborative, lean manufacturing techniques, resilient and adaptable.

This candidate will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Identify and analyse inefficiencies in manufacturing processes to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Kaizen Events: Organise and lead Kaizen events, assembling cross-functional teams to tackle specific manufacturing challenges.
  • Training: Educate and coach employees on Kaizen principles and lean manufacturing techniques, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Implementation: Develop and implement effective solutions identified during Kaizen events, ensuring seamless integration into production processes.
  • Monitoring: Establish and track metrics to evaluate the impact of improvements on production efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other managers, engineers, and team leaders to align Kaizen activities with business goals.
  • Communication: Report progress and results of Kaizen activities to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing and lean/Kaizen methodologies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading improvement initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
