TIG Welder/Fabricator

Salary: Up to £15 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Position Type: Temp to Perm (12 weeks temp, permanent for the right candidate)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm (11.45am finish Friday)
Our well-established client in Sandy is seeking experienced and skilled TIG Welder/Fabricators to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a welder with a strong background in metal fabrication, particularly in sheet metal work and coded welding. If you have the expertise to meet high standards in quality and precision, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on various metal components with precision and accuracy.
- Fabricate metal parts, ensuring all work adheres to specified measurements and requirements.
- Confidently use and handle various tools required for welding and fabrication.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality assurance standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- TIG Welding Experience: Essential for the role.
- Coded Welding Experience: Essential for the role.
- Sheet Metal Experience: Strongly preferred.
- Tool Handling: Must be confident in using and handling welding and fabrication tools.
- Metal Fabrication Background: A strong background in metal fabrication is necessary.
- Reading and Interpretation of Drawings: Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
