7.5t Delivery & Installation Driver

Berry Recruitment are looking for 7.5t Customer Delivery & Installation Drivers for a large well established Electrical retailer at the Basingstoke site.

Candidates will need to complete an induction first then it is to start ASAP.

07.30 start working 5 days a week - finish time will vary depending upon completion of deliveries.

Hourly pay rate £14.50.

Main purpose of this role is to safely deliver, install or collect a range of electrical products into customers homes which includes White Goods, Televisions and cookers.

Main Duties:

  • Safely deliver and install White Goods, Televisions and Cookers into customers property
  • Engaging with customers, keeping them informed and ensuring delivery and installation is carried out to a high standard
  • Maintain regular contact with the site throughout the day to meet any changes to customer deliveries, discussing unplanned issues and seeking guidance if needed
  • Ensure hand held device (SAVVY) is always used correctly by completing visits and obtaining customer signatures
  • Handle all products safely and with care, supporting colleagues to do the same
  • Regularly review, adjust and secure the load to ensure safety whilst using equipment provided (straps, sack barrows etc)

Candidate Requirements:

  • Full UK C1 driving license (max of 6 penalty points)
  • Previous experience driving 7.5t vehicle
  • Customer service skills
  • Heavy lifting will be involved in this role
