SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a recent psychology graduate with a drive to support the development of pupils with additional and complex needs?

Could you use your knowledge and skills to support SEND pupils to reach their full potential?

  • ** 1:1 and small group support to SEND pupils across the curriculum.
  • ** ‘Good' school for pupils with special education needs.

Requirements:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in psychology, or a related field.
  • Some understanding of additional learning needs and how these may be accommodated.
  • Understanding of the importance of safeguarding procedures.
  • Dedication to the education and wellbeing of SEN students.
  • Previous experience of working with additional needs is beneficial, but not essential.

Pupils are referred to this school through the Local Authority (LA) special needs placement officers and psychologists following the completion of a Statement of Special Educational Needs.
