Sheridan Maine is collaborating with our client in Weston-super-mare to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who can consistently provide timely and accurate financial reporting to various stakeholders across the business. The role emphasises business improvement and aims to enhance the efficiency of accounting processes to boost overall productivity.
Your responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:
- Assist the accounts team in preparing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and Group accounts consolidation within the established timeline
- Participate annually in the preparation of budgets, year-end accounts, and schedules
The successful Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
- Minimum AAT Level 4 or pursuing ACCA or CIMA qualifications
- Strong communicator across various platforms with the ability to align activities towards a common goal
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, complex formulas, and data analysis techniques
- Deadline-driven and capable of working under pressure
- Good understanding of industry KPIs with the ability to interpret management accounts to identify areas for improvement
- Able to follow specific processes and instructions, working independently to complete delegated projects
- Experience with automotive software such as Keyloop 'Drive' (formerly CDK) or Kerridge Rev 8 is beneficial but not required
- Willing to travel and facilitate meetings with key employees across all locations, including Finance Team members and other key Managers
