About The Role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle potentially dangerous situations calmly and effectively.
You will be working Monday to Sunday, 06:00 to 18:00, 56 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Surveillance and Monitoring:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems and respond to any irregularities.
2. Access Control:
- Authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Maintain and manage access control systems, issuing and retrieving access badges and keys.
3. Incident Response:
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Provide assistance and direction in emergency situations such as fire, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
- Liaise with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit detailed daily reports of activities and incidents.
- Maintain records of unusual occurrences and security violations.
- Document all incidents in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
5. Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
- Answer questions and address concerns with a friendly and professional demeanor.
6. Safety Management:
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and emergency procedures.
