Hays Education are working with a holistic primary school based in Shropshire. This primary school are looking to recruit a highly motivated and creative individual who has experience dealing with pupils in Early Years for day-to-day. The school are a community-based school based in Shrewsbury.
Your new role
In your new role as an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be required to be an empathetic, creative and enthusiastic individual. You will work under the instruction of the class teacher to provide a stimulating and engaging learning environment, to ensure all pupils will reach their potential. You may be required to work with pupils in a 1:1 or group setting, ensuring the development of pupils.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will need to have experience in a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
- You must have experience supporting children with interventions.
- You will need strong communication skills, especially when working with groups of children, and 1:1
