- Salary: £24,790.00 to £25,183.00 per annum (pro rata £21,322.74 to £21,660.77 per annum) plus Fringe Weighting £1,013 per annum (pro rata £871.32 per annum)

Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare and maintain all necessary equipment and materials for science practicals.
- Actively support teaching staff and students during experiments and demonstrations to ensure smooth and safe operations.
- Manage the safe storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised laboratory environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Provide technical advice and support to staff and students, enhancing their understanding of practical science activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A Levels or equivalent qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities (LATA), NVQ Level 3 for Laboratory Technicians in Education, or Level 3 Certificate in Laboratory Technical Skills.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety legislation relevant to school science environments, including COSHH and ESCC regulations.
- Proficient ICT skills for research, communication, and presentation purposes.
- Ability to provide professional guidance and support to both students and staff, fostering a conducive learning environment.
