This role is perfect for someone eager to build long-term relationships with customers and drive business growth.

Key Account Manager Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers needs and how specific products can meet them.
  • Manage a mix of end-use manufacturers, SME businesses, and resellers within your account portfolio.
  • Balance day-to-day order management with proactive business development.
  • Regularly engage with your accounts via phone to foster strong relationships and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Generate sales orders to meet team sales targets.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to expand the range of products each customer buys.
  • Drive new business development proactively.
  • Provide comprehensive support for customer inquiries, liaising with other teams as necessary.
  • Manage the entire sales process from quotation to after-sales care.
  • Accurately process all quotes and orders in SAP.
  • Work towards KPIs and margins with an uncapped bonus structure for both individual and team performance.

Key Account Manager Skills & Experience:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities to meet customer expectations.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to meet targets and excel in a sales-driven environment.
  • Experience managing the sales process from quotation to completion.
