Job Title : Chef de Partie

Location : Shifnal

**Salary : £26,000, plus service charge

We are recruiting on behalf of a spectacular venue that offers a rich tapestry of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it a cherished destination for visitors and an important part of Britain's heritage.

Our client is searching for an experienced Chef de Partie, who will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, recipe development, and ensuring that all dishes are cooked to the highest quality standards.

**The Role ;

  • To run and supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by the Head Chef.
  • To ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each service.
  • Ensure good stock and waste control is practiced.
  • Be responsible for the quality control of stock and prepared foods.
  • Execute cooking to the expected high standard quickly and efficiently.
  • Support head chef in delivering required standard of food safety & hygiene.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times and seek to improve and advance your skill set and performance.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations, the Staff Code of Conduct and company policies

The Ideal Candidate ;

    • Any hospitality qualification.
  • The ability to constantly perform well in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organisational skills to ensure the smooth running of a kitchen.

  • A self-starter, able to be highly proactive and forward thinking and to respond flexibly to the demands of the post.

  • Flexible working hours (Able to work weekends and evenings)

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Highly developed communication skills.

  • Independently able to travel.

  • Naturally passionate about the hospitality industry is essential.

  • A clear passion for food, with a desire to progress within the industry
