Hooray are delighted to be partnering with a leading provider of further & higher education to recruit for an Events Assistant to join their team on a full-time, rolling monthly contract. With the summer break just around the corner and a busy summer schedule we are looking to move quickly on this piece of recruitment.

As an Events Assistant, you will:
- Work as part of a dynamic hospitality and catering team in the venues across the campus, with a specific focus on summer events
- Liaise with external clients to understand a brief, responding to requests and delivering the event in a friendly and professional manner
- Be responsible for greeting, assistant and serving food & drinks at events
- Assist with event preparation, service and clean up
To be successful as an Events Assistant, you will:
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be confident in providing high standards when delivering events & associated tasks
- Be customer focused, approachable and willing to exceed customer expectations
- Take a collaborative approach to ensure the smooth running of an event
- Create an inclusive and safe working environment
In return, we are offering an hourly rate of £12.82. Please note, this is a full-time (37.5 hours a week) position from June-August.
