Robert Half are working in an exclusive partnership with a well established, reputable organisation in Swindon to recruit a Management Accountant role on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting, challenging role that will be heavily involved with business partnering, process improvement, financial reporting and key management accounting duties. This Management Accountant role will be suitable for an ACCA/CIMA studier that is seeking career progression within a company renowned for offering an excellent work environment and long term careers. The salary is between £38,000 - £45,000 plus study support and other excellent benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Management Accountant role will consist of:
- Preparing management accounts.
- Variance and P&L analysis.
- Budget vs actuals.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Cost analysis.
- Cash flow reporting.
- Accruals and prepayments.
- Journal postings.
- Business partnering with various stakeholders; identify business risks and impacts, supporting with reporting and presenting ideas for improvement.
Profile
To be considered for the Management Accountant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:
- Must have management accounting experience; exposure accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ideally an ACCA/CIMA studier.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Confident user of Excel.
