Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established specialist service business based in Dudley on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Financial Controller and working as part of a small and friendly finance team, you will be responsible for measuring the company's financial performance based on financial records and communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
- Prepare monthly forecasts
- Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
- Supervising the internal accounting team
- Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
- Other ad hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified and/or part-qualified ACCA or CIMA with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computerised systems particularly SAGE and Excel are essential for this role along with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
