Payroll Analyst

Are you a skilled Payroll professional with experience in medium to large organisations? My client is looking for a Payroll Support Analyst to join their Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of payroll services, contributing to ongoing projects, and enhancing payroll systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the review and enhancement of end-to-end payroll processing, collaborating with 3rd party providers and participating in payroll cycle system updates.
  • Continuously improve reconciliation processes and ensure monthly reports are accurate and timely.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, policies, and procedures within the payroll function.
  • Assist in updating and optimising work systems and internal controls to minimise processing errors and ensure accurate, prompt changes in payroll systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and People Systems teams on payroll-related projects and process improvements.
  • Support business change initiatives and contribute to the development of new processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

About You:

  • Experience in payroll within a medium to large organisation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with excellent numeric and analytical abilities.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with SAP is essential.
