This prestigious professional membership body is looking to recruit a part-time Events & Meetings Administrator to manage the core administrative responsibilities within their regional office, including delivering engagement events and supporting integral committees.
Key Responsibilities of the Events & Meetings Administrator:
- Plan and deliver regional engagement events, both in-person and virtual, in liaison with subject matter experts.
- Provide logistical and administrative support to key committees, including undertaking minute taking responsibilities.
- Contribute to the marketing of events, including preparing e-newsletters and updating the organisation's webpages and social media.
- Act as the central point of contact for all enquiries to the office, cascading information to members.
- Reconcile payment reports and finance reports for the team, to feed into monthly management accounts processes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Educated to degree standard, or with equivalent professional experience.
- Previous work in a fast-paced administrative role, ideally including experience supporting committees.
- Experience in, and enthusiasm for, event management and delivery, with exposure to budget management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work effectively to tight deadlines.
- Ability to attend in-person events in London, including occasional evenings.
Salary and Benefits:
- c£33,400 FTE.
- Part-time (28hrs/week), permanent role.
- Based in Central London office, with provision for remote working for part of the week.
