We are currently looking a skilled and motivated Class 1 Driver to join our client in Stevenage.
General haulage and store deliveries in and around London
Start times between 05.00-11.00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
- Perform tramping duties with overnight stays as required.
- Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):
- £17.93/h days
- £121.57/h 0vertime after 8 hrs
- £22.41/h weekend
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
- Experience in general haulage and tramping.
- A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
