Origination Associate Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Origination Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the origination process, which involves identifying, evaluating, and structuring potential investment opportunities for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential investment opportunities
- Analyze financial statements and other relevant data to evaluate the viability of potential investments
- Assist in structuring and negotiating deals with potential clients and partners
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for review by senior management
- Coordinate due diligence activities and ensure all necessary documentation is in order
- Maintain relationships with external partners, including clients, vendors, and industry professionals
- Assist in managing the closing process for investment transactions
Requirements:
- Fluent to native level in German
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial modeling software
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance is preferred
