We are delighted to be representing an engineering business based in the North-West who specialise the supply, service and maintenance of paint dispensing equipment.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to service and maintain automated paint dispensing equipment across the UK, mainly focused across the belt from Bristol to Reading.

If you are looking for an opportunity to get into Field Service, this is a unique chance as our client will train you from scratch.

Ideally you will have some hands-on experience, perhaps you're just coming out of the Forces, you've worked in the building or construction trade or you just wish to get into an engineering / field service role, the key is you're attitude and willingness & ability to learn.

The role of Field Service Engineer:

  • Work on the servicing and maintenance of paint dispensing equipment.
  • Attend scheduled service & maintenance appointments at customer sites.
  • Be on call on occasion to attend reactive maintenance at customer site if required.
  • Communicate with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.

Experience / Background Required

  • Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Can demonstrate good practical / hands-on skills with a natural desire to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and get people organised.
  • Experience working with MS Office or similar software.
