I am working with a two-form entry primary school who place creativity and fun at the forefront of their curriculum. The school has been transformed since the new headteacher joined the school in 2021. They place a huge emphasis on building a culture where everyone feels valued and empowered to teach fun and engaging lessons.

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and is able to bring energy and enthusiasm to each lesson. Children are encouraged to be involved in lessons and are brought-into the ideal of making their classroom an exciting place to be. There is art-work and quotes on the walls which have been chosen or created by the children.

The current class teacher is due to go on maternity leave in mid November but the headteacher would like the new KS1 Teacher to start after October half-term to allow a phased handover.

The contract will start through Long-term Teachers and then the successful candidate will transition onto a direct contract with the school in January proving the role is going well.
