Job Title: Fitter
Location: Teal Park Road, Lincoln, LN6 3AD
Contract Details: Temp To Perm 3 months initial temporary contract, moving to permanent after this, subject to successful completion of the 3 month period.
Salary: £22.00 per hour plus shift allowance (111.5% for earlies, 117% for lates). Overtime also available at higher rates.

Responsibilities:
- Stripping Small Gas Turbines to their sub-assembly component levels
- Dismantling and overhauling components as required
- Building and testing combustion and associated components
- Working with engineering drawings and layouts to ensure high precision and quality
- Using tools, measuring equipment, and lifting fixtures to complete tasks
- Completing associated paperwork and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating effectively with supporting departments and colleagues
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
- Contributing to process improvement ideas and initiatives
- Adhering to legal and company regulations for safety and quality
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Previous experience as a Fitter
- Apprentice-trained or qualified to Mechanical NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to high tolerances
- Knowledge of dismantling and overhauling components (desirable)
- Safety-conscious and quality-focused mindset
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience in working with Small Gas Turbines or similar machinery
- Familiarity with strip and assembly processes
Technologies:
- Experience using tooling and measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
