Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 07:30am - 4:15pm | Friday 07:30am - 3.15pm

Our client is seeking a Programme Support Officer to contribute to the effective delivery of property maintenance and repairs services. This is an excellent opportunity to ensure that maintenance services are executed to the highest standards, supporting both the council and the local community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the council's reputation by delivering excellent customer service and promoting a positive image.
  • Provide performance information for housing maintenance, ensuring procedures and policies are adhered to.
  • Match trade resources to workload demands, ensuring compliance with council standards and budgets.
  • Maintain and organise all necessary documentation, ensuring legal obligations are met.
  • Work closely with internal and external service providers, ensuring productivity levels and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Promote a customer-focused, value-for-money service culture, learning from feedback and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 2 or at least 2 years' experience in resource planning or a call centre within a maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge of property maintenance, repairs, and void property management, with an understanding of asbestos and scaffolding.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service, especially in a social housing or public sector setting.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in using back-office systems like Agresso, Total, and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
