After School Play Worker
Abbots Langley | 3pm-6pm | £13 per hour
Monday-Thursday, term-time only

As an after school play worker, you will be supporting one of our local schools in their on-site childcare club after school hours.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like a role in a primary setting outside of the traditional school hours, or someone who is looking for experience working in a school. This role begins from September 2024, and is a temporary contract. You must be able to commit to the hours 15:00-18:00, Monday-Thursday.

Your responsibilities & requirements:
- Be a fun and engaging member of staff to support children in their after school club
- Work with other team members to create an exciting and safe environment
- Adhere to Safeguarding policies and school behaviour policies
- Liaise with parents and carers at pick-up times
- Be aware of general first aid + willing to undertake any training provided by the school
- Take part in providing after school snacks to children at the wrap around care club
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience working with children (desirable)
