Temporary Administrator / Document Controller

SF are recruiting for an immediate start, Temporary Administrator/Document Controller for an important client based in Ilkeston.

We are able to offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.00ph however we must have candidates who are immediately available to start. 40 hours per week. Minimum of 3 months, possibility of temporary to permanent for a successful candidate.

You will be required to work directly with our Project Managers / Design Managers and Quality Manager to actively support the design, procurement and construction process on multi-million pound projects. We require someone who will integrate into a team, has high levels of motivation, strong IT skills, along with good written & verbal communication skills, good organisation & time management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • You will manage and control the flow of documents and information on projects.
  • Using Microsoft Software Packages including SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • Receipt and logging of project documentation, maintaining document registers and numbering system
  • Ensuring all documents are submitted through the Document Control Process
  • Distributing documentation both within the company and externally.
  • You will be able to provide an accurate and up-to-date status of the information / document flow whenever requested.
  • Collating information from material suppliers and vendors
  • Assisting the Project Manager in the production of weekly and monthly reports
  • Collating cost information/time sheets to support the commercial team
  • Production and distribution of meeting notes
  • Assisting with production of documents in various formats; Word / Excel / Powerpoint

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong administration / document controller experience.
  • Familiar with project workflows and working within the design, engineering or construction industries.
  • Proactive and assertive for chasing and expediting documents
  • Excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
  • Proficient with other MS Office software, Excel and Word etc.
  • Clean UK Driving licence
  • Ability to deliver to tight schedules
  • Applicants need to be highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Well developed organisational and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Good prioritisation skills and an attention to detail
