Field Service Engineer/Marine Engineer/ETO required by a leading provider of Satellite Communications. Our client have a global presence including offices in 10 countries and have 250 staff globally. Our client are looking for a number of Engineers for this role and are seeking candidates to be based in or around 30-40 miles of either one of the following ideal locations: Plymouth or Portsmouth or Falmouth or Hull or Liverpool or Newcastle or Clydebank (Scotland) Our client can also hire in all other locations of the UK
Experience on board ships installing, maintaining and repairing electrical and electronic systems is the key requirement for this role. Applications from candidates who have an armed forces background or ETO background or marine engineer background are very welcome!
The successful candidate will have the following essential skills and experience:
- Installation, repair and maintenance of GMDSS Equipment, Navigational Equipment, VSAT Satellite Broadband
- Experience of Radio Surveys or VDR-APT`s
- Electronic or Electrical Engineering Qualification
- Must have a full UK driving licence and car
- Must be flexible to travel within the UK and Abroad (travel ranges from a few days to a few weeks at any one time)

- Overseas Allowance - £50 per day
- Offshore Allowance - £100 per day

- Overtime is paid at time and a half (any hours outside normal working hours of Monday-Friday 9-5:30pm)
