Sales Consultant for Curtains and Blinds

Job Title: Sales Consultant(s) – (Curtains & Blinds/Interior Design).

Location: Home-based with travel to local client sites.

Area(s): Bath & North East Somerset, Wiltshire, South Gloucestershire, Bristol.

Salary: £26,000 per annum + bonus + benefits (pro-rata for part-time).

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – full and part-time applicants encouraged.

We deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We are seeking experienced and proactive Sales Consultants to join our team either on a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexible working arrangements to support a work-life balance.

Role OverviewAs a Sales Consultant, you will manage the client journey from initial enquiry to project completion. This includes visiting and consulting with and advising customers on their choice of fabrics, colour and design; measuring, quoting and specifying customer orders for the making and installation process; placing orders with makers and fitters, and subsequently coordinating and managing the delivery workflow and sales fulfilment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advise and quote customers virtually, via phone, email. Zoom and in-person during customer home consultations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a high level of customer focus.
  • Process orders and payments efficiently.
  • Specify and place orders with makers and fitters, coordinating and managing the order delivery workflow and sales fulfilment.
  • Use the company's IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Service new business with a proactive approach.
  • Conduct home consultations, including measuring and surveying windows.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and partners.
  • Reporting back into the business management.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven sales experience in made-to-measure window treatments or a relevant interior design-related field.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to grow within the company.
  • Flexible working approach, with the ability to work independently and autonomously at home.
