Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Band 2 Healthcare Assistant to join Mersey Care NHS Trust. This role will provide support to healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient wards and community-based care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily care needs of patients, including personal care, feeding, and mobility.
- Support nursing staff with medical and therapeutic interventions.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Record patient information accurately and assist in monitoring their progress.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a healthcare or care setting is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
