Berry Recruitment Sutton are currently recruiting temp bank Chefs to assist our clients supported living units in Peckham and Catford. As a Chef in their small-scale kitchen, you will play a crucial role in preparing nutritious meals for their residents.
The are shifts starting as early as this week so please get in touch if you are interested.
Pay rate: £17 p/h
Working schedule: Days will vary as and when the business needs. Hours will be 8am - 6pm.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences for residents.
- Ensure high standards of food quality and taste.
- Cleaning the kitchen, washing up, taking the bins out. (you will be working independently)
- Unloading food deliveries (only on certain days)
- In rare instances you will be required to serve the food to the residents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Chef, preferably in a similar environment.
- Must possess Chef blacks and whites.
- Enhanced DBS on update service is required. (If you are willing to do a DBS we can process this for you at a cost of £48)
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Creative and adaptable.
