Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to manage and maintain our accounts receivable processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring timely payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations.
  • Resolve invoice disputes and payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute regular aging reports.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments to address billing issues.
  • Implement and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures.
  • Conduct credit checks on new customers and set credit limits.
  • Provide support during audits and month-end financial closures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of billing and collections processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to analyse and reconcile complex accounts.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
