Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to manage and maintain our accounts receivable processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring timely payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the collection of outstanding invoices.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations.
- Resolve invoice disputes and payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute regular aging reports.
- Liaise with customers and internal departments to address billing issues.
- Implement and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures.
- Conduct credit checks on new customers and set credit limits.
- Provide support during audits and month-end financial closures.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of billing and collections processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to analyse and reconcile complex accounts.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
