Requirements:
- At least a bachelor's degree in any relevant subject.
- A passion for the education of young children.
- Commitment to the wellbeing of KS1 pupils and an understanding of the importance of safeguarding procedures.
- A natural ability to build strong bonds with children.
- Previous experience of working with children, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.
The Role
- Aiding teaching staff in the planning and delivery of innovative lessons.
- Monitoring pupil progress and development to identify extra support needs.
- Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to under-achieving pupils across all areas of the syllabus.
- Assisting staff in extra-curricular sessions.
- Participating in staff meetings and parents' evenings.
