As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of systems, supporting our business operations and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage complex IT infrastructure solutions within the Microsoft stack, focusing on Azure and related technologies.
- Lead infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, particularly within cloud environments.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring reliability and optimal operation.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on financial services.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure
- Proficient in managing Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and related collaboration tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Power BI and its integration with other Microsoft services.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
